If that lockdown never happened I think there wouldn’t be a lot of anime watchers or manga/hwa/hua readers cause before the lockdown. I couldn’t say stuff like, “oh I like to watch two guys kissing while sobbing at the angst” at the ripe age of 12 without getting shit on by everyone. Now the same hypocrites who says cartoon this cartoon that are the same ones goin “peak!” at the same show and reads they used to shit on.
Yeah the pandemic definitely made anime/manga mainstream
When everyone stuck inside reading manga,webtoons or watching anime become way normalized it’s kinda funny how the same people who made fun of it before are now into the exact same stuff reply
