My grandfather thinks I'm wasting my time reading comic books and none of them have profound meanings or whatever. He's right that most of what I read is trash (I dont save most of them to my read/reading lists but i read a lot of trash). BUT I WANT TO PROVE HIM WRONG ANYWAY! If you have any good recommendations for my grandfather let me know. His favorite things to do is watch the news, feel anxiety and paint abstract landscapes. He hates fantasy and loves underdog stories. He doesn't like romance either.
TLDR: - no fantasy - no romance - likes underdog mcs - likes an obvious deeper meaning - likes non-fiction or stories based on real events/people - preferably manga or stories I can buy a physical copy of
Mystery to Iunakare. There's a physical copy of this! It can be philosophical, so I think your grandfather would like it. The art style is simplistic too if your grandfather likes simplicity. reply
