How do i handle a lover who's like jealous alot...
I know he gets jealous easily like I get why he is, because it took me awhile to see that he likes me genuinely and wasn't like those straight men joking being gay and so there's idk how to say it respectfully but abit of insecurities and anxiety. Relationships are ofc like that, but rumors around me man... Like boyy you're the only one I love. I don't even fake flirt with ppl irl and but i hang out with ONE GIRL at thrift stores and suddenly ppl ask us if we're dating. Our relationship is closeted because ofc homophobia, only close friends know we're dating.
Us being in different majors is hard. So our schedule is different except when our organization is doing smth. Which I am president of but obviously I just can't like do shit just to hang out with him, this thing is voted anyways. That's the only time we get to hang out. He's an irregular student too. So ughhhh we'd be lucky to hang out if the professors don't come into classes. So I know that's like part of the problem why my bf is being jealous lately. Less time to hang out so more overthinking thoughts + this is kinda his FIRST relationship.
He's bothered that like I get dating rumors and he's afraid one of them could be true one day because of the lack of time we get to spend time together. That ill "break up one sidely" with him

I think the first question I'd ask is if he has friends? Because sometimes when people make their SO their everything they can start easily feeling insecure.

Silent treatment is shutting of communication and manipulative behaviour. So is being jealous over a friend
Being mad about not hanging out is also a sign of immaturity.

Gang tell him that he’s being selfish w the silent treatment. If he is anxious or has problems tell him to talk it out w you cause you ain’t a mind reader. Nothing’s getting fixed if you guys don’t talk things out. Go on library dates or something being apart isn’t that bad.

There is nth you can do! He needs to handle himself also it's clear is trying to make you more detached from other people. My advise is clear. Stand your ground, if it helps you can be more open with your relationship but other than that ?!?! Goodluck and don't change
