Jasmine. Yes, they smell sweet, but they mean more to me. When I was a child my grandpa planted many jasmine bushes at our extended family home because my granny adored their scent. i love rhododendrons, not because i find them particularly beautiful, there are better looking flowers but it reminds me of home because they're found in place i grew up in. I used to hike for hours just to see them as a kid.   reply

The Gladiolus. I used to love lily of the valley growing up and if ur into etymology one meaning of gladiolus was sword and these flowers were often called 'sword lilies'. Im not sure what the meaning is but I do know the symbolism changes depending on the colour. +its also my birth flower. s/o august babies   reply
