i love rhododendrons, not because i find them particularly beautiful, there are better looking flowers but it reminds me of home because they're found in place i grew up in. I used to hike for hours just to see them as a kid.   reply

The Gladiolus. I used to love lily of the valley growing up and if ur into etymology one meaning of gladiolus was sword and these flowers were often called 'sword lilies'.
