I agree, to me age gap in a fictional romance seems less important than cheating, consent issues (grape or sexual harassment) or incestuous relationship. As long as they're above 20s, its all fine to me. But if we talking about real life, my opinion would be maximum 10 years age gap, and strictly not including pedophilia and grooming.   1 reply

Tbh i really like age gap dynamics in fiction , I’m kind of a fan. But I def have my limits. If one character basically raised or knew the other since childhood, that’s an automatic nope for me. Even if they only get together as adults, it just feels… off, almost like grooming. Like, how do u fall in love w someone u literally watched grow u......   reply

If it’s fictional I don’t mind it too much but in real life it’s different. It doesn’t matter if they’re both consenting adults grooming can still very much happen and a 20-year-old shouldn’t be with a 30 year year-old they’re incomplete different life stages and the power balance is still there.   reply

My take is age gaps can get bigger the older you are, bc the life experiences are more significantly different the younger you are. So a 40 smth with a 20y/o is hella weird even if its legal Ex. People in their early 20s are better off dating between 20-30 People in their late 20s - early 30s are good dating up until early 40s People in their mid 5......   reply

I give more freedom in fiction but both should still be legal. Ifw Milfs, Dilfs and Gilfs if you know what I mean wink wonk. Anyways as long as it convinces me that they're really in love (more romance, less smut) and it's interesting I'm ok with it   reply

While that's nice, i honestly don't approve of it much if its a teacher x student like even if they're both over 20s that's just weird. You're not supposed to do that to any of the students that's against your work field, its not just some workplace rule I feel like this is a universal rule that professors shouldn't date their students lol. I'll on......   reply

For me, even in real life or fiction. As long one of them is not in age ranges between 0-17 i am fine. If not it got me infuriated. Specially, those readers who kept on yapping about "why do reincarnated FL go after the child? Aren't they already an adult?" In head yes but in their human form, they are still a child and you want them to go after so......   reply

I have a personal question. I'm 19 and there's a guy who's 26 that's hitting on me. He recently graduated and became an engineer and me and I'm still in my second year in engineering. He seems interested in me when we never met before he just saw me via someone's WhatsApp status. Matter of fact he's an international student, he's not even from my c......   6 reply
