I agree, to me age gap in a fictional romance seems less important than cheating, consent issues (grape or sexual harassment) or incestuous relationship. As long as they're above 20s, its all fine to me.
But if we talking about real life, my opinion would be maximum 10 years age gap, and strictly not including pedophilia and grooming.
