What do you want to see more of in manga?

I want to see female side characters in shounen type stories be given actual personality and depth and not just exist as a pair of boobs that obsesses over the hero and also more female MCs in action/adventure stories!!!!   reply

With BL. I wanted more world-building plots/hunterverse/alternate world with unique elements with romance as secondary to shine. Even fantasy/game lore like the surviving as a player in another world is fine as well even going so far to be inspired by shield hero and sword art online is fine. The best plots in BL always came from the world building......   reply

ditto. but i also wanna see a very depressed, suicidal character. i haven't read/seen a lot of this. a non violent one unlike some popular ones who commits mass murders . no, idk maybe i just wanna read something or someone like me. i've read one where he's depressed and he hoards. i love it sm, i never knew i need it before.   1 reply

If I had a quarter for every manga that went soft beastiality or threw in imo more unnecessary traits than needed, I'd be rich (rough tongues, animal genitals, behaving like an animal in a way that creeps me out, mermaidussy, knotting, etc). Unique characters WITH BODY HAIR. WHEN I READ A BL I EXPECT THE AHJUSSI TO HAVE SO MUCH HAIR HE LOOKS LIKE A WHOOLY MAMMOTH. If he ain't that hairy he isn't an ahjussi, just an old man. And I don't want to see the fl in shonen manga or any manga to look like a literal 6 year old.   reply
