Fuckass toxic fandom

Sorry, I just had to let it all out.

Someone genuinely just told me to delete my fanfic in AO3 when I just posted a chapter, I swear, the story only had one chapter and they told me to delete it??

Idek what to feel about this, like, do I even know you for you to judge my work like this?? I appreciate the thought to write the feedback but I never told you to criticize my work either. The story moved according to MY decision, not yours, not the reader's.

Maybe you're commenting that because you saw me editing the tags and the summary, let me tell you this, it's the writer's job in AO3 to tag in their story to let the reader know what they're reading and to prevent people like YOU from reading their work.

Calling me a people pleaser isn't wrong because I'm like that irl, but that doesn't mean you can just criticize my work and told me to delete it because I am a people pleaser. Here's a fun fact: being a people pleaser doesn't control MY decision about MY work, especially in SOCIAL MEDIA, like what are you gonna do to me? Tapping your screen, writing harmful comments and threatening me? On screen? That ain't gonna do shit.

The story only has one chapter I promise, the plot hasn't move yet. Saying that I am worth more than this story is seriously insane, do you even know me to that level? My creativity? I wanted to use it to create this story and it's MY decision. I had written fanfic before, at least check my profile and my other work before commenting, I've never change the story just because the comments were unsatisfied.

Every stories I made in my head already has an ending the only thing I'm gonna do is make that stories came out by writing, and I'm not planning on changing the stories. Of course, you don't know that because we never know each other. You don't know me and I don't know you.

That's why, think it over in YOUR head before you say something about MY work unless you're incapable to have a thought about yourself and only thought about other people. Incapable of seeing your own flaws, lack self awareness.

Talking like a psychology student, at least learn to be able to understand yourself first, about why you're writing that comment when you don't even know me, why you're controlling my decision over MY work(are you jealous or something?), why you're telling me what to do with my work when you yourself are just a stranger to me, reading my fic in a free platform, then you can comment whatever you want after thinking it through.

That fandom really is toxic and rotten to the core, this was my first work in that fandom too. I don't really wanna judge the whole thing because of a person but that's really a fact that even some of the fandom recognize it too.

Saying shits like that especially in AO3 is low even for a human being, don't say it's not that deep because being when you write what you love and post it on a free platform for people to enjoy then an ungrateful person told you to delete your work(on the first chapter) is not something that anyone have to go through.

I don't even care if that person who commented this in my story is here too, see this and think it over on how shameless and thoughtless you are, it doesn't cost a penny to be kind but the same could be said in opposite however, choosing to spread positivity is way better than to spread negativity. That's what it means to be a basic human being.
