Why is it embarrassing (?) to say I have a boyfriend?

I'm pansexual and NBSB, not anymore tho as I recently got a boyfriend. I dated before but I never been in a relationship so now whenever someone ask me if I have a boyfriend, I am hesitant to say I have one. It's kinda embarrassing(?) to admit I have one. Anyone else feels like this?

Nah, cuz I always ask them why they're asking me. They'll probably say it's no big deal and then I agree, it's no big deal so don't ask. reply
