ARTISTS do you all know how to do NARRATIVE ART / STORYTELLING ART?
I’m super curious about something!
I’ve noticed a lot of you are really artsy, and it got me wondering, does anyone here make narrative art?
To me (as a non-artist), it feels like one of the trickier forms of art, since it’s not just about drawing a pretty scene, person, or object, it’s about telling a story or conveying a message through your piece. That’s so fascinating!
If you don’t mind, I’d love to see your work. And if it’s really abstract or layered, maybe the rest of us Xrs can try guessing the story or meaning behind it. That could be really fun.
(And for anyone who might not know: narrative art is basically art that tells a story, like instead of just a simple landscape, it might show an event, a theme, or a purpose behind it. Imagine a girl inside a half water bottle that's half filled. It's meaning vary from person to person, but it sure as hell not just a simple drawing of a girl.)
Turns out it’s called ‘narrative art.’ You really do learn something new every day.
(Also, please don't judge my horrendous coloring skills. I make most of these during college hours in between the free time during classes. Or when I am really down. Please be kind. ╥﹏╥)

Like, I tried to make one. But it turned into a comic instead...
(I feel like, ya'll who can do narrative art must be real creative. Or maybe I am just dumb)

Ooooh I haven't done anything like that in maybe two years? And I think that's a bit of a stretch considering it was a single painting
My stuff is pretty simple and I don't think the comic painting counts all too much but it was the last painting I made before i burnt out HARD.(this ones an old assignment that I think is funny)
