It’s such a cozy, comfy genre, like any other, until you start digging beyond the popular titles [That you are sure are nonproblematic]. That’s when things get messy. The number of times I’ve come across straight-up pedophilia in the manga section of GL, or painfully toxic and abusive plots in the manhwa corner, is honestly insane.
