Surprise in my food..
So today.. at school i was eating lunch.. It was grilled chese with tomato soup and on the side was saltine crackers.
I already ate my grilled cheese and soup but when i dipped my cracker in the tomato soup and i took a bite of my cracker it had a FLY MAGGOT IN IT. (a maggot with a red dot on it means its a fly maggot). The way I knew was because it tasted FUNNY.
I NUDGED THE THING TO SEE IF IT WAS REAL, AND IT SQUIRMED EVEN WHEN I TOOK HALF OF ITS BODY IN MY MOUTH.
After that i got traumatized started crying and trying to drink soda to cleanse it, even asked to go home to brush my teeth
the only evidence i had was the people around me when i announced it, anyways 0/10 meal, would never trust school food again
If theres any people in medical or know something to help me please tell me

moral of the story is to check your school food guys
First of all, calm down. I'm going to provide you some info but do not panic, just remember that if symptoms persist, consult your doctor/go to the er.
Second, I am surprised at someone in medicine not considering a dsx in this case omg.. Everyone in the med field are taught to consider a disease when this happens. Not everything we eat can be dis......

I'm in medicine and I assure you there's a 99% chance nothing will happen to you ,it may feel creepy but if you've swallowed it your stomach acids and digesting enzymes will take care of it,I'd say worst case scenario is you get food poisoning which I don't think will happen in your case, see a doctor tho if you notice symptoms like diarrhea,vomiti......
