Perseverance and constant exposure to the languages you want to learn. Also, focus on one single language first and only start learning another one after you’ve already reached at least intermediate level in the first one. It’s actually pretty easy. I learned Arabic by listening to songs and watching shows when I was younger. Same with Spanish. I’m not nearly as fluent in Arabic and Spanish as I used to be, but I can still understand, read, and write in both. Also, you should learn the internet slang of the language you’re studying. I learned Korean first and it took me 2 years to be fully fluent in it, now I'm learning mandarin because it's required in my major. It takes aloooot of time to fully learn them so do it one by one. I mean I still have bad grammar when it comes to English and only learned from movies mostly.   1 reply

i only have enough spanish comprehension to stay one chapter ahead in High School Boy translations (and recently to read the last two chapters of a dog fucker yaoi) so i don't ACTUALLY know how to get fluent...
