Why do some of y'all only complain about female body being unrealistic?
Some people complain about "OH NO female body exaggerated, fetishism, where us the body representation " And most of them read BL or straight webtoons with character with the biggest dick that could be used as a weapon and for some reason that's okay Yet I rarely ever see the same complaints for them. And they are written by women. Fetishism goes both ways guys, lets not be hypocrites. And honestly even if you are fetishizing then just goon ig just no need to be a hypocrite about it ffs.
Edit: Y'all I'm not saying its bad to call it out but not when you have like 50+ mangas with gay men clearly fetishizing men. And I mean mostly for mangas/webtoons here not whatever the fuck actual men write... I'm also triggered because instead of pointing out real problems some of you just focus on shitting on women authors for this..Like can we support each other?

Tbh dick sizes genuinely does not matter cause that's hidden and will only see in actual nsfw spaces, meanwhile big boobs will be present in so much medias and will be considered as "beauty standard", fetishizing exist for both genders but why people genuinely has a problem is that it's a "beauty standard" for women. I'm real here everytime you see a sexy woman in cartoon, she has curves and exaggerated features like yes men too but if you think about it, men having muscles is totally achieveable, it's not very impossible to have and I'm saying this as a gym rat who used to be fat meanwhile girls would literally need plastic surgery for them because not everyone is built the same.
I have seen these complaints on smut manhwas and most people here do read them. I don't have a problem if they critique other mens work but I see these complains a lot more on womens work than the other way around. Where the guy is clearly exaggerated. I get that muscles are achievable but for example height wouldn't be achievable for anyone.
I wouldn't have a problem if they mainly complained on mens works but its always womens work where the mc is being nitpicked for the smallest shit ever. or I read yuri which clearly is smut and I see complaining there about there not being representation?
Beauty standards do exist and I agree but when people see a female character in a female targeted manhwa for some reason they become way too critical of it..I understand if they said that in non-smut stuff I totally think that's fair and should be called out. But if you are reading smut it doesn't matter. Smut isn't something that should get political and that's why I think its hypocritical when especially people who read a lot of BL complain on joseis and yuri about the same thing while they only meme about one. But in reality the joseis and yuris are mostly written by women for women to begin with.
Of course if its not smut/porn go for it its good to call it out. But in smut I think its dumb especially when you read things that are fetishizing gay people to begin with.

I'll be impressed if a man drew that because the way her boobs sits. I have seen people with that boob size irl and also seen waist that slim a lot whenever I go to Japan...I am considered slim where I am but as soon as I enter Japan I feel obese XD
I will be impressed if its a guy because the story seems like its geared towards women and also Nae Haesoo's body isn't as unrealistic as people made it out to be.
I did hear it does affect men because of the amount of memes that gets posted about it online. That sounds exhausting. The way they do it in those webtoons feels like doing at least a week worth of working out....then they'd have to go to physio. :(
Tbh I'd see that it's not so unrealistic it's just a little icky to me (never read the webtoon) that she had that body when she was highschool, and in some panels it sure does looks bad but lots of ppl sucks at anatomy ig.

In the grand scheme of things unrealistic body goals is much harder on women in society- mainstream etc. You don’t need to drag one movement down to help another, this is the problem with male movements, they focus on what feminism is doing and what women do that they lose sight on the actual problems and how to face them. If you have a problem, make posts about the problem NOT about women.

I would agree but I think ig I don't like it when people comment those stuff under joseis/ yuris that are written by women anyway. Its just people really make the whole thing political as soon as they find something small.
