misogyny....and yuri???

hey guys local girlkissing gooner here and I realized that in all my years of internet freakiness I've never seen a site based on yuri quite like how mangago is based on yaoi. It made me think about how gl isn't taken seriously like bl is cause its like "dumb girls being in love they're just being silly haha!!" like I'm opening my eyes now and maybe some of us have some internalized misogyny subconsciously

In my opinion, I don’t feel like it’s misogny. I just feel like it’s a much smaller demographic lol. When it comes to romance books there’s a lot more women consuming them than men. The majority of women are heterosexual so it makes sense that romance involving men would be a bit more popular. Plus I feel like I get the same type of respons...... 2 reply
