hey guys local girlkissing gooner here and I realized that in all my years of internet freakiness I've never seen a site based on yuri quite like how mangago is based on yaoi. It made me think about how gl isn't taken seriously like bl is cause its like "dumb girls being in love they're just being silly haha!!" like I'm opening my eyes now and maybe some of us have some internalized misogyny subconsciously

It’s true that BL is more popular than GL but not because of misogyny imo. It’s because a major part of romance readers are straight women and straight women love hot men.
