Hiii, not usually the type to post about serious issues on here, I usually come here just to have fun and interact with people with similar interests but alas.
Yesterday when I was scrolling through the homepage I saw a cover that kinda disturbed me, i went to the comments and pointed out how the character in the cover looks like a child which was wildly disturbing, other fellow readers disagreed and called me delusional I just wanted a different perspective in the matter and someone to tell me wether I’m reaching and that it’s only in my head and taking things too seriously, please explain it in a civilized matter I can take constructive criticism, sorry for the yap ( fyi I haven’t actually read the story it’s just the cover that caught me off guard)

Like i see where you're coming from but usually for these thingsthe seme build is usually the abysmal factor in this, if you see a young looking guy w a baby face and who's usually like 22 or something w a 250cm gigantic mf that looks 35 to 40 you'd b right to assume it's a teenager but for most they make them 20ish

Ig I see how you see a child but tbh it's too often we see large differences in physical builds nowadays between characters, esp in yaoi so I stopped seeing sm with a twinky build as childish, in other words I see a twink not a child. The story is shitty in other ways tho lmao
He doenst look like a child. Theres so many things why that story is fucked up but the cover ain't one of them
Also your post remind me of this one that brought up "Dead or alive" as the MC looking like a child w/o actually reading the story (they were wrong btw). Not hating or anything but I thought it was interesting since the characters look somewhat alike

Like if i try to imagine a child it probably would be big eyes rounded face or something right? And the mc is nothing like that, thats why imo he doesnt look like a child.
