Why does the term fujoshi mean "rotton girl" and himejoshi means "princess girl"?
How does that work?

I recall reading somewhere that both himejoshi and himedanshi come from Yuri Hime, which is a magazine for yuri manga. I don't think there's a intricate meaning behind the term. Not sure about how the term fujoshi came about though. reply
