Nicest catcall I’ve experienced

I was walking to this cafe but I was walking in the parking lot because there’s no sidewalk it’s a strip mall
Anyways just doing my own thing these dudes roll up and roll down their window and said girl you look like a goddess do you need a ride, I said thank youuu I’m okay
even tho it was technically a catcall I was lowkey flattered by that
I retold the story to my best friend she was like those dudes got one thing right you are a goddess and now im star struck lol
It’s more meaningful when it comes from your bestfriend then random dudes in a parking lot
So I’m a goddess ig
The curly blonde highlights were the right move lmao

Uhm, not to invalidate you or anything, just as a genuine question, wouldn't that just be a compliment?
Since catcalling, by definition bc I literally had to look up the word bc English isn't my first language, is "usually defined as a rude, derogatory or unwelcome comment, whistle, kissing sound– or maybe even a literal meow."
If it was a girl, would it be catcalling too?
The first time i got catcalled I had this almost uncontrollable urge to lunge at the man and rip this heart out with my bare teeth, but all i could do was shake violently and keep going, I was sweating so much i could barely walk. This incident has left such a lasting impression on me because I grew up in the countryside where incidents like this were scarce, but men in the city are beasts, salivating at the sight of a girl. I used to think "if I ever got catcalled I'll reply in a sassy way that they'll be flabbergasted. But it's easier said than done. You're really too nice for replying in a normal way because whenever I get catcalled I spit at the ground and make a face or swear at them.
I can never ever take a catcall positively no matter how it's worded, actually everything that comes out of a man's mouth justifies a woman killing him.
