Do you guys ever subtly try to bring up your birthday is soon whenever it comes around bc you dont expect people to remember but also want them to know bc you'll feel alittle bit sad if they remember other people's birthdays but not yours, esp cause you view them as close friends even tho they provably dont consider you the same

Unfortunately I grew up with parents who didn't give a fuck about birthdays which means I have never recieved any Birthday gift or a cake let alone a party. If I was lucky I'd get a happy birthday and thah's why I never make a deal about it. When I grew up I lowkey used to be a little jealous of ppl who got presents and got a party or a cake 1 reply
