Some of Y'all make me sick

I am genuinely baffled and honestly feel like throwing up. Has this place really become an echo chamber for weirdos to defend and normalize vile stuff like pedophilia and CSAM just because it’s “fiction”? Are you even aware that possessing fictional CP,yes, even drawn or animated,is criminally offensive and punishable in most countries? Someone told me I’m using the word pedophile too casually because “no real children are harmed” and that it’s “disrespectful to real victims.” Well guess what I am a real CSA victim but I don’t owe anyone my trauma story to justify my stance. What other term do you want me to use for people who get off on the sexual depiction of children? Society and the law both recognize that behavior as pedophilic. Don’t lecture me about terminology when you’re excusing the sexualization of minors under the guise of “fiction.” Some things should never be normalized, no matter the medium. It’s terrifying how desensitized people have become, thinking it’s fine to consume “fictional CP” just because no real child was involved. They’re feeding their predatory fantasies through fiction because they know they can’t act on them in real life and that’s exactly why it’s dangerous. I sincerely hope people like that never come near any child. And before anyone throws the tired line of “put this energy into helping real victims,” I already do. I’ve supported and helped many CSA survivors like myself. You don’t know me, so don’t you dare dismiss or downplay what I’m saying.
