What are some plot device's you're quickly growing tired of?

I hate when authors make the mc get assaulted/stalked/have their lives put in danger just so the love interest can come and be their white knight, and after that the mc is never affected by the traumatic event they went through they just move on, i just finished reading a story i overall liked but that had the mc be almost assaulted and MURDERED and right after he went and had sex with the ml c'mon now

Whenever the mc just out right doesn’t listen to their friend telling them that’s the ML is an asshole And calling said friend “annoying” or “delusional” While siding with the ml I SHIT U NOT EVERY-TIME IT DOES APPEAR THE ML IS AS BAD AS THE ML IN JINX. MF IS WHAT U CALL TOXIC WASTE 2 reply
