Going jewelry or clothing shopping and seeing outrageous prices (from trustworthy and small brands) and realizing that it can’t be cheap because you can’t get cheap things without either using exploitation or cheap materials— so I just suck it up and start saving or look for second hand.
Even the small businesses I love are upping their prices, and every time I visit their site, it’s like I can physically feel another emotional layer of my heart being exfoliated off my soul. 1 reply
