Going jewelry or clothing shopping and seeing outrageous prices (from trustworthy and small brands) and realizing that it can’t be cheap because you can’t get cheap things without either using exploitation or cheap materials— so I just suck it up and start saving or look for second hand.
I start to flirt a bit and ask for a discount if they refuse I laugh it off and force myself to give a little tip to make it seemed like I was JOKIN and not some cheapskate reply
