How do some of y'all Americans manage to fail maths

I’m half Asian and half European and stayed in both places long enough to know and we both know that people also fail here so i dont know what you’re getting at. Maths is way more than just using a calculator it’s about understanding the concept. Like have you never gotten below the standard of any subject   reply

Yk what’s funny. My friend once caught this pick me bitch using her phone during a math test. Caught her in 4k cheating and showed the math teacher and the math teacher was like “I can’t do anything” because she still got all the answers wrong even after cheating.   1 reply

From what I understand, our curriculum isn't the best for teaching abstract thinking. Students might know the formulas and how to calculate them, but they don't know when or where to apply them. Calculators won't help if the student doesn't know wtf they're doing. Also calculators being allowed varies depending on the location, the subject, and the......   reply
