You all (including me) need to really drill in your head that bad people can make great art.

Normally I don't passionately hate on things I haven't actually read, but I make an exception for harada. I read happy shitty life and that was more than enough for me to decide I don't like them... their writing style and how they treat their characters really put me off. Yeah they're good at portraying victims etc and how pedophilia actually works and how its so much more complex than just someone being born liking kids etc.. In SOME cases it is that way but a majority is through some sort of childhood trauma such as being groomed as a child or stumbling across it as a child and then it spirals.

I remember binge reading harada out of pure curiosity this one time many years ago. I also kept an eye out for happy shitty life at some point, it was pretty funny.
I don't think they are to my current tastes right now. Who ever floats their boats by their work isn't someone who's business I'm invested in. reply
