Manhwas are what get me. I feel like this is an issue with both shoujo and BLs when it comes to manhwas. It’s always the 5 same stories with the same characters, same plot, same cliche, and same tropes. I’m literally so SO bored atp. It's genuinely so hard to find any manwhas with actual SUBSTANCE. They all follow the same washed up and used plot, and you're just expected to forget everything the fucking ML did in the beginning because he changed within the last few chapters! Oh, give me a break. Genuinely I miss when like Manwhas / Mangas actually had good plots and likeable ......   reply

I agree. I feel like with manhwa it's been just a competition to add as many tropes as possible. Manga is a bit better because I think they went through this period years ago but still whenever I find a good story the year it was released rarely starts with 202_. I'm hoping people start realizing this is the best time to be creative with your plot ......   reply

I appear to have a similar problem i've re-read similar bls multiple times, especially the older(1900) or recently completed ones, while struggling to stay engaged with newer, ongoing bls due to their incomplete nature or slow update pace. I seem to find the completed bls more interesting or easier to follow, but im getting distracted or losing foc......   reply

yeah it’s been getting annoying reading the same 5 plots over and over. like another comment said, manga is better with this since they already went through their over saturation phase and made way for more unique stories. i find myself rereading mainly manga when i want something with a unique plot instead of trying to find something new atp   reply

well there is this in flux of koren manhwas which is literally copy paste same poor uke plot , or toxic ml plot .. & the same plot kept on getting recycled by almost everyone ...& since manhwas gets updated every week you could get bored of same story line easily ..leaving that aside good quality mangas hardly gets uploaded here which i saw gets up......   reply

I shit u not I seen some authors reuse their own story’s (I’m talking about author or cutting sleeves / profundis) But in all honest, Your correct tbh all these new story’s are just after one thing and that is “ popularity ” so they decide to copy what was already “popularity” examples and try go recreate it with little no effort......   1 reply
