Fanfiction (specifically on ao3)

What is your honest opinion on ''Dead Dove'' fanfiction? Bc lowk I kinda love them.. I mean obv it depends on the topic, some of those ao3 authors go CRAZY w that shit (seriously, crazy. like pls seek therapy crazy..) But in general i really like reading gorey,angsty,creepy,under-your-skin kind of stuff.

Idk, what's yall's opinion on it?
Otherwise, what's your fav type of fanfics? (trope, style etc.)
