try join VGEN. It’s huge art community which are for artist to sell art commissions and those who client to buy arts. It’s a bit strict but it means it’s safe for both parties too.

I don't do commissions any more but usually I get the most requests the more I publicise my work. Like I won a few small art comps on discord contests and that's a great way to promote yourself, even if you don't win it gets your art out there!
