Why are we turning into puritans
Listen. Everyone is free to comment over a shitty story, a character, a plotline. Especially when it's something triggering or problematic. But why are we exactly condemning readers now for enjoying a mature bl/gl just because you don't?
You know what, I can understand when people are being this way to those shota/lolicons, those mfuckers go straight to jail. But why exactly do you feel the need to go to a dark romance story and be like "eeeww that is so toxic" like the readers did not fucking know that in the first place. Let people read what they want, if you don't want it then it's fine too. Most of y'all are acting like these are not fictional stories. Just because someone had read about a story with abuse/rape/assault doesn't make them a person supporting those crimes.
"You like Jinx? Oh you're happy that Jaekyung is reconnecting with Dan? So you don't care about what he did then?" OH WOE IS ME. Like god fucking damn it that I enjoy a story about an emotionally abusive asshole regret and be reformed for the person he abused, and the abused to get over his trauma and depression over being left alone with the abuser's help. How could fucking I do that???

Imma be real with you, when ppl hate on them 99% of the time it isn't just because the fiction itself but how these ppl idolise a rapist. Like the bar is set 6ft underground because it's dead. Like fujoshilover, no a man finally realising he's been treating someone like a pocket pussy is "redemption" just cause he saw how bad that dude's life was.......
