Should straight men be allowed to play roles of queer characters?
As always when a new bl series begins trending the topic whether it's fair or not for straight men to get the roles of gay characters gets brought up. Given now that heated rivalry has been out people have been attacking the actors with claims of "Queer baiting" and that an openly gay man should've gotten the role rather than the current actors.
My stance is that it's acting. Saying it's queerbaiting doesn't make sense because it's not a real story, they're literally being paid to pretend. 1 reply
