Should straight men be allowed to play roles of queer characters?

As always when a new bl series begins trending the topic whether it's fair or not for straight men to get the roles of gay characters gets brought up. Given now that heated rivalry has been out people have been attacking the actors with claims of "Queer baiting" and that an openly gay man should've gotten the role rather than the current actors.

the person who acts the role the best should get the role. also, hot take, but actors shouldn't be sharing their personal life and fans shouldn't care about their personal life either. it's none of your business. so whether or not they are gay shouldn't even be knowledge you have in first place. you should not be discriminated against without reaso...... 1 reply
