I don't know why, but I literally been haunted by Doki Doki Literature club for years now, the use of realistic images in an anime artstyle always terrified me, and then the random black screens of just silence.. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
Had no clue and there's one scene that traumatized me so much that even to this day, I will never watch that scene. For interested parties, BIG SPOILER: It's the notorious scene with Satoko and Shion. reply
