genuinely what do i do at anime conventions

im a cosplayer and have been attending cons for like 2-ish years now but i still dont get the gist of it :(( im shy so i just go with one or two of my ooc friends but i REALLY want to make cosplayer friends. im better at talking online than in person but unfortunately my cosplay social media acc has been disabled so i havent been in contact with any moots…(bc i dont remember their usernames lol) ive gone to panels and meetups and really put myself out there but i havent found any people i could click with ykwim? i feel like going to anime conventions would be so much more fun if i had cos friends to meet up and hang out with :( I JUST RLLY WANT COS FRIENDS AROUND MY AREA THAT I COULD HANG OUT WITH OK

a few tips to be more approachable at cons (and hopefully not by the weird fellas) - cosplay whoever you want, but franchises with active fandoms get more interactions n pics. for ex alien stage is a big one atm and super recognizable even with their non-official outfits so you can rlly make ur cosplay cute or unique. also highly likely chance of ...... reply
