Healthy couples can be portrayed well and interestingly, or rather bland and stale, just like complex characters or even dark themes and shitty characters can be presented well or shitty. Real, story’s with healthy couples can be just as uninteresting as story’s with unhealthy couples. People these days just don’t produce any interesting story’s with any real substance, so no matter the dynamic between the two mc’s, it just turns out bleh and boring.
