I avoided orv for so long because I thought it was slop. (I jumped to conclusions based off the title and cover, it was stinky of me ik) I thought it was another solo leveling. ( the comparison feels like a crime forgive me)

This, i thought it was going to be remarried empress level historical slop but it's genuinely such a great story that doesn't excuse mcs naivety and ignorance against the suffering of poor people and the sins of her family and in her journey to deconstruct her beliefs she actually loses something, her journey has stakes and a satisfying ending reply
I thought I'd find this series boring, but it's a shounen so i was going to start reading eventually.

I avoided this thinking it's pretty overhyped and not my style. But then binged the whole show in just 2 days. It was so good...
