agreed. I have always felt that if most of these stories replaced the uke with a woman, it would be a human rights violation and ppl would cry outrage (in the real world), but because it's men and because it's fiction (for all intents and purposes) ppl are wayyyy too okay with it.

my thoughts were from the angle of the consumer as opposed to the producer. when there are rapey paedophilic hentai anime made with terrible depictions of women, people usually blame the viewers rather than the culture allowing people to make such content. i would say that governments and laws have the final say in what content is allowed to be dispersed and what creators are allowed to create, just as consumers have the final say to read/watch what is available to them within legal means.
think it's fair that you're digusted in general at the community and you're completely allowed to feel that way. i ended up interpreting it differently and wanted to clarify that blame cannot be so easily associated to one group.

No there is homophobia, a common example would be kiss me liar. And how Keith didn't want to date a man at first. There are other comics like that, where there's a big deal about the mc being a man. Though obviously it's not common because it's a rather boundary breaking thing, because the whole point of omega's existing is to normalize the same-sex relationship, which is is quite interesting how they decide to make something counterintuitive though still in the end it does end up being misogynistic because in some story lines women are ultimately made out to be the last choice and sometimes pair up with other women.

Yes. Well I also think there's been a reset or a balance. Because notice the trend of alphas pairing with alphas or alpha's partnering with bettas (it's like the gay of the Omegaverse). Choosing a partner who cannot reproduce over, reproductive gender options. And after that it just becomes fluid, because there are now concepts where anyone can get pregnant.(Although I've left reading yaoi behind for 2 years now, so I cannot speak on anything past alpha x alpha, but I'm just relaying from what I have browsed from reviews)
