There was a manga (srry I dont remember the name) about a guy from the past meeting their crush’s gradson who was really lonely, and they eventually fall in love, but he decides to go back to the past to end things properly with gramps thinking that then he wouldnt be a heartless father and that would make his grandson’s life better.
