I agree with the person about mentality. Age is just a number really. It’s about what they’ve experienced, how much they’ve matured, how they approach conflict and problems - an important aspect in life and relationships.
More than that, the question is would you regret it if you let them go? I mean, maybe the age gap will be a problem but ......
