It actually depends on the total number of upvotes (the triangle thingy on the top left side of your your posts) you get on experiences that you posted on a certain topic. For eg, if you go to the topic 'question' (which is the most used topic for everything), the person with the highest exp has basically managed to have the highest total upvotes on all their experiences combined on that certain topic. So if you post, say, 4 experiences in total on a certain topic and you get 7 upvotes on each experience, you'll have a total of 7+7+7+7=28 exp on that topic and it'll be displayed in a ranking system thingy on the side (the one whose pics you posted).
