I have actually never seen any human tl manhua so can't say anything about them. But whichever one I picked up it was all MTL only. Especially manhuahot type websites. Secondly, as an ignorant person I may have no say but Hangul is pretty easy language to learn compared to mandarin. Also the effect of Dramas. Many people will understand Basic Jap......   1 reply

In my opinion it's because Chinese uses a lot of idioms which are hard to translate and it's used very commonly to the point where you'd get an idiom every few paragraphs, so you'd either have to translate it weirdly or give a lot of context, or just change the whole sentence to give similar meaning (but obviously then you get inaccuracies). My ex-bf translated chinse manhua once, its rising to azure sky! He said its abit hard to translate manhua more compared to korean. He tolr me he gets confused on which one is a name and which one is not since most chinese names is like ones that also often mean something.
