My best friend got a boyfriend, moved to another country, got a good paying job there, broke up with their boyfriend, got a raise and makes bank, is now in talks with another guy and just bought their own studio apartment and is in the mids of painting it and furnishing it. I'm an adult and trying to make the most of life everyday. It's hard to stay positive and it's okay to cry. I'm also not where I want to be in life right now, but I'm hopeful for the future. Therapy is also good if you feel that you need it. (I also read adult comics for fun. My mother read smut novels from her preteens till a decade ago, it's norm......   reply

ya i feel behind, im 19 and getting my degree in something i dont think is even right for me and its such a competitive field. my classmates r getting internships n such and im lowk js trying not to fail my classes.... but i do believe things will get better for all of us someday !! Yes. I crashed out after two weeks in my "dream college" and taking a weird ver of a gap year (years really) and just watching everything go by. I'm having to "work on myself" so I can go back to where I left off but I feel stuck. But honestly. Take your time. Real, lowkey yeah. The burnout feeling despite not 'doing much' is real. Started feeling this when I started highschool, I wanted to get into a philology major (languages, literature, writing, allat fun stuff) mainly to follow a theater university afterwards and get into film making and the whole movie industry.
