I need a drastic change bad I wanna dye my hair rainbow so badly but I don’t want it to turn out like dog shit or look like a tumblr user , or like when it fades it’s gonna look hella nasty
I’ve done a split dye one half of my head pink and the other my natural colour but haven’t done full on rainbow

Hidden rainbow is a safe option though. Great way to test whether you like how rainbow looks on you. You can also practice rainbow coloring techniques without being too worried about messing up because it can be hidden away if it doesn't look good.
You should definitely do a peakabo rainbow, or maybe one of those scene rainbow dash looking cuts, you could also go for faint pastels on platinum blond hair!! A rainbow raccoon tail is prolly the cutest out of all rainbow hair options to me though.

I don't know how your hair is, but if you have bangs, take a small section of it, and color that. Like the pink fringe on Twilight Sparkle. I think that will look nice.
Yes I do have dyed bangs currently! I did a money piece with face framing highlights and a balayage rose gold I kind of have short curly hair but it’s very basic rn
