For me personally and, this might be a weird take but, I feel like it mainly depends on the genre of the manhwa.
Like for eg, (again imo) if it's an action manhwa then no idc if the sfx are translated or not but, if it's an romance or drama tagged manhwa where the more emotions displayed, the better, then yea it'd help if the sfx were translated. ......
