I started sometime around 2007/08/09, also in the unfettered-internet-access-at-a-young-age boat bc all these are from slightly before and during middle school for me. idk the popularity of anything because I was finding stuff to watch by going through the category listing on Wikipedia for shounen-ai and yaoi.
