I’m trying to find an obscure historical romance I read.

If anyone recognizes what I’m looking for plzzzzzzzzzz tell me I’ve been searching for days
It’s a cliché historical romance and all I can remember is that the main character is an ordinary looking girl with little to no presence who likes to watch the male lead from afar at parties. The male lead is a very popular noble who dislikes most women and he notices the female lead watching him but whenever he trys to find her she disappears, he continues to try to find her and gradually falls for her until he eventually proposes a fake engagement or something and then yadada they fall in love.

Now that you mention it im looking for something like that too except its a manga and time travel back to histroical japan...... the mc was so ordinary she was able to crossdress as a warrior..... ugh I wanna find that manga so bad it was so interesting 1 reply
