The ones on my list rn are just the ones I manually added off the top of my head. Meanwhile, others already have theirs bc they actually rated stuff. I had NONE. I was free-balling since 2018
There's hope, but they're not putting it manually. It’s automated data recovery from backup/replica servers, and the system is syncing asynchronously as it stabilizes. :3
i heard the site is doing another refresh to get stuff back on ppl's lists but omg i rlly hope they do everything back cuz i also didn't rate everything i read TT https://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/21092806/
My account is also from 2018, some of it on my read lists did come back but only the rated ones (i rated like 10 of them out of everything ..). Weirdly enough only ONE manhwa i hadnt rated also came back on my reading list... but only one
We just gotta trust their back-end servers to restore the metadata. I'm not sure about the tagged/rated ones being the only ones recovered, someone more knowledgeable explained the possibility but I can't seem to find the forum/post anymore :<
You only have to add them to your wants/reads. Not everything on your list will come back at once. The site devs are essentially reading through ALL of the bookmarks of ALL users in chronological order. All we have to do is be patient
There's a forum that explains why but I can't find it anymore.
And for Kanyima, that’s not how it works. They’re not “reading through” bookmarks. This is almost certainly a backend data recovery issue. If you’ve done IT/program development, this looks like a partial failure with the system restoring from backups. The random, restoration across accounts suggests a raid rebuild, database shard recovery, or replication lag with eventual consistency kicking in. If this were being processed sequentially, we’d see ordered restoration, not scattered lists appearing at random.

The team is putting everything back manually so it can take days, even weeks. No worries guys, they're working hard!

WAIT U HAVE TO RATE THEM?Now that explains why I only got 9 of my read list back out of 200+ cuz I rated only 9 of them
