Tired of people normalizing rape and SA being okay...especially when it's done by the "love interest"
It's true, it's already common to see these things in mangas especially BLs...but that doesn't mean you get to sit behind your screen and say it's okay just because it's fiction...I hate to break it to some of you but rape still happens in real life.
You can STILL enjoy other parts of a manga and think "This story is sooo cute but the LI raping the MC was so unnecessary"/ "This story is soooo cute if I just ignore the part where the LI continously SAs the MC". But for no reason at all should your response to someone saying "this story could've been better without all the unnecessary rape/SA" be "the rape was necessary!!"

Excatly !!! Everyone is free to read to their liking but please be aware of what you're reading and educate yourselfs because it's pretty concerning to see how many people will overlook these types of things in a story. Reading it is obviously no issue. The issue is when you ignore the sa, rape and etc and romanticise a relationship like that.(even defend it) These stories are obviously fictional but some include real life events and problems that just about anyone can face on a day to day basis so it's kinda hard to "separate fiction from reality" when the reality is right there . You cannot justify or defend sa or rape if you do you're lowk weird.
