How to get rid of clingy guy?

I had this one guy i broke up with but since we are unfortunately classmates and both of us lives on the same street, he still cling on me and follow me around. If i block him, he shows up in front of our house and it's just stressing me out. So i had no choice but to js let him be around me and wont accept i broke up with him.

I don't wanna continue this bullshit anymore and it's been almost a year, I genuinely despise him for stuffs he keep doing despite me telling him not to and I cant even get rid of him.
