I can’t commit to anything oml

Ok so I joined this art event on an art server and there was teams which I was placed into, and for the first few days when we where planning and creating characters designs it was all fun and I was fine, but now that we’re actually getting to the drawing and rendering part I have no motivation to do it and Im lowk just not responding to anybody Im so fucking scared. Ive ghosted one person for a drawing collab I was supposed to do and I kept telling someone I was gonna collab with a while ago that I’ll finish soon but I know my ass in never getting it done why am I like this Ive had to refund someone for a drawing comm too cause I just couldn’t finish it T-T like drawing for myself is fine I just can’t find it in me to do collabs anymore or draw for others, but like I sometimes do have the motivation it just goes away half way through when I really need it

think about how you're wasting peoples time(also mine cause I read all of this) You keep thinking about how you're losing motivation and That's what ur mind is turning to so you really don't have it. if you know so well that you've lost motivation half way while doing something, why are you bringing people upon your downfall. Do you notice this pattern in any other part of your life? It might not just be a question of motivation. What is your reason for participating in art events/collabs? If you just want to do some group activities, maybe pick something unrelated to art, or join an irl art club with irl events, where if you don't show up, it doesn't affect anyone else...... reply
